All bookings are made on a first come, first served basis. Bookings will be confirmed when proof of a 50% non-refundable or transferable deposit is received.

Taxidermy can be arranged locally if required at the clients cost.

The following rules will apply at all times:

  1. The professional hunter is at all times in charge of the hunt and his decisions are final. Only animals identified by the professional hunter may be shot. If any other animal not identified by the professional hunter is shot or shot at on purpose the particular animal will be payable at double the price by the client.
  2. All game mentioned in the Game Management Hunting Packages is non-trophy and includes male or female animals. No game or birds may be shot without the permission of the professional hunter.
  3. No ammunition round may be left in the chamber of any firearm. Firearms may only be loaded when taking aim at an animal to kill. Firearms and ammunition must at all times be safe and declared safe. All firearms will be locked in a safe when not in use and the keys will be held by the management. No firearms may be handled in the camp without prior permission.
  4. The client accepts responsibility for any damages through his/her actions either malicious or un- intentional to any property of Swala. The client undertakes to pay such damages on request in cash.
  5. Guests left on vehicles may not leave such vehicles under any circumstance. No guests are allowed outside the immediate vicinity of campsite unless the professional hunter escorts them.
  6. No alcohol is allowed during the hunt. Persons in the view of the professional hunter under the influence of alcohol, or any other substance will not be permitted to hunt.
  7. The client visiting Swala must inform the Management of any illness or diseases they might have and must at their own risk ensure to take all necessary prescribed medication and ensure that they have such medication with him/her at all times.
  8. The full invoice amount is payable before departure.
  9. Any game hunted is payable from the moment it is shot at, either wounded or dead. No head or neck shots are allowed. Game will be deemed wounded in the opinion of the Professional Hunter.
  10. All measurements will be green measurements on the day of the hunt.
  11. Members of staff are available to skin animals. Clients are responsible to oversee the skinning of their animals and the preparation of meat and skins. The company, management and staff cannot take any responsibility in this regard.
  12. Clients and their guests should take out appropriate insurance covering activities to be undertaken, third party and personal risks.
